CPS Energy inks 27 MW Western Ranch Texas Solar deal

CPS Energy has signed a 20-year power purchase agreement with Tessera Solar for a 27 MW solar energy project - Western Ranch - that will be developed in West Texas. The project will use the SunCatcher power system manufactured by Stirling Energy Systems and will be the first Texas project for Tessera Solar, which currently has 1,500 MW of projects in California’s Imperial Valley and the Mojave Desert.
